So what project are you working on now?

Sliz: My current project is a mixtape called Superstar Stunna vol 1 and will feature freestyles and originals from myself and other artist involved with my company Truth Media Group. I will also have drops and features from Gillie da Kid Joey Jihad Rediroc(of ApeGang) and many others...

What are your goals for 2010?

Sliz: My goals for 2010 are to continue elevating and promoting my company...im shooting a movie with Daniel Craig and will be releasing my novel Honor Among Thugs as well...

Introduce yourself to the people who already dont know who you are. Lets start off with letting us get to know the real you.

So what's your birth name? What's the difference between the real you and your stage persona?

Sliz: My real name is James Reese and there isnt really too much difference between me and my stage persona Sliz which is short for what people might know me better as which is Slumlord

How long have you been in the game?

Sliz: I've been in the game 12 years.

What's your greatest accomplishment so far in life?

Sliz: My greatest accomplishment is being a great dad to my kids.

Interest(s)?

Sliz: My interest include of course music,sports,writing,history and I'm a big movie buff particularly gangsta flicks...a little known fact is, I'm also a licensed chef lol.

What's your ultimate goal in life?

Sliz: My ultimate goal is to raise my children and help them become productive adults in society.

What do you like most about being in the business?

Sliz: The best thing about being in this business first and foremost is the opportunity to get my art out to the world....in addition I like the freedom to make my own schedule and not have a ceiling on what i can do financially.

What's the thought process behind your works?

Sliz: My real everyday life is a movie...so I just write what I live...whatever mood the beat puts me in I take a page from a chapter of my life and get to work.

How was life changed for you since being you started?

Sliz: Since I started in this business the biggest change has been the opportunity to travel extensively and meet a lot of great personalities...the schedule is real hectic but its a labor of love...

What would you be doing now, if you never started doing music?

Sliz: I can't see my life without music but had I not got into it I probably would be acting...

What are you listening to in your ipod these days?

Sliz: I have my own songs in my ipod because I'm going on tour soon and I need to be perfect...

What has been your favorite job you've done so far?

Sliz: My favorite job is performing.

What are you currently working on?

Sliz: As I said earlier I'm workin on my mixtape and lines for my upcoming film.

Does any negativity from the media ever affect you in anyway?

Sliz: I don't pay the media any mind unless it's positive. Negativity doesn't make it onto my plate.

Any advice for those looking to pursue their dreams?

Sliz: For those pursuing there dreams I would say keep God and family first and never give up. Whatever is meant for you there is nothing that can stop it from coming to you. What's not meant for you is never gonna come no matter how long you try.

What do you want to be remembered by?

Sliz: I want my legacy to be the way I affected the lives of the people around me...and i want to be remembered as i one of the most talented people in this business that touched the game in more ways than one...

Anything else you would like the world to know about you?

Sliz: In conclusion I would just like to say to everybody reading this that it's never too late to chase your dreams and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The only person you owe is yourself so dont let yourself down. God is the only judge and haters are just people who wish they had your ambition and drive. Idle time is the devil's workshop so keep moving. Find what you're the best at and go hard don't try to be a jack of all trades just be a master of one.
