WBM Inspiration: 5 Habits For Success

Due to the day-to-day grind and hustle to obtain one's goals, often it's very difficult for me to catch what may be the latest on TV. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing against doing so. However, it's not the easiest with early days and late nights developing ways to take WBM to the next level. So to remedy, what's missed news and otherwise, the Internet for some time is the source that keeps me up to date for the most part with what's going on.

Now while purusing the net to get a daily dose of current events on Yahoo, I happened to come across an interesting write up that outlines the 5 Habits of the Happiest Couples I Know as explained by contributor, Andrea Frazier. Though very insightful and applicable to life, I couldn't help but seek out means to develop a WBM approach to those 5 habits and use success as the focal point for today's post.

I was once told,"There isn't one key to success, but many keys," and in an effort to help others arrive at a clearer, easily understood and self-actualized perspective of what success means and from a centralized personal point of viewWBM has come up with its 5 Habits For Success.

  1. Reach Out - While the desire to set forth toward what we aspire most is on our minds and hearts, don't hesitate to seek out help from another. Whether that means having someone to bounce ideas off of or a mentor, the exchange of thoughts and experience will aid on the path to success.

  2. Be Thankful - Everything you experience, good, bad and in between is another opportunity to learn and grow from. Use those situations to push you forward. If those experiences, for example come in the form of conversation, be sure to thank the person or persons that were the catalyst in raising your awareness.

  3. Live Your Passion -Everyday, even if it's for 15 minutes spend time perfecting your skill. Experts are made not born. According to researchers, the amount of time it takes to become an expert at any one thing is 10,000 hours. Every minute invested is one minute closer to expertise.

  4. Make Do -Life at times will hand you lemons. It's up to you whether or not you decide to accept it. At any given time be able to learn from your experiences and adapt/adjust when things don't pan out the way you expected or planned. It's when you become stagnant that you retard your progress on the path to success.

  5. Enjoy The Simple Pleasures - Success is different for everyone. Be encouraged and excited by your accomplishments no matter how big or small. Recognition in this area is the fuel necessary guide your steps along the journey.

Read. Apply. Repeat.

What are your 5 Habits For Success? Hopefully this helped. So keep striving. Keep Pushing and keep climbing all the way to the top.
