Understanding and Creativity
We can make quite the difference within ourselves and potientially others if we take a moment to become more aware of what happens internally to make more sense of the external events; good and/or bad that take place in our everyday lives. The soonest we catch this the better. Recognition of such occurances and processed by our creative faculties could initiate a "pay it forward" movement that changes current perceptions of the world, may it be our own or the perception of another.
Here's a vid of the future recognizing itself in the present though the voice of a young poet.
Enjoy.

Picture Perfect
-Epiphany Blue
We get caught up, most of the time in the things we don't take much pleasure in. Whether that's work, school or whatever, I'm sure there was a moment or moments where something just felt, missing. (I know I've had my moments.) Think about it, when's the last time you've done what you've really wanted or follow the direction your heart pulls you toward? I know there're some dreams we've all wanted to chase and some things we've all wanted to strive for.
Interestingly enough, Zai Aragon, a good friend of mine with whom I recently had the chance to get reconnected guides her steps in a way much different than most. Utilizing her heart as her compass, and the camera as her eyes, Zai travels the world capturing life in such a remarkable fashion.
Her photography: breathtaking, amazing, vivid, and eye-catching to say the least.

On a side note, I'd like to pose a challenge. I'd like everyone to proactively pursue and expand his and her creativity ability.

Star Gazing
-Doug Larson
That quote is so serious. However, what's interesting are the thoughts you'll have, especially those about the people you come in contact with after reading this. Ideally what I'd like you to think about is perception of a different sort. Often people, specifically those that care about our well-being and the choices we make in life suggest possessing a vision or mindset to attain the very thing or things we desire. This usually is expressed in a number of ways, but what stands out most is: "Reach for the stars."
What happens though when a star reaches back to you?
I frequent the Urban Jook Joint, a venue in the Village near Union Square, Manhattan every last Friday of the month. A phenomenal venue to say the least, that advocates the arts as conversational offerings to those in attendance. To make a long story short, this past month I was fortunate enough to observe the All-Ladies Open Mic in celebration of Women's Month.
Now mind you, it was a great experience filled with many a conversational offering, but I must say I saw a star that evening in the city. This star reached back with her words and touched the audience spiritually, mentally and emotionally with her soulful delivery. Without the accompaniment of instruments, Lacresha Berry utilizes hand claps, soul snaps and heartbeats to keep the tempo.
