Unrestricted and on a mission to inspire people to feel confident while at the same time help them to find their inner beauty, the new super girl group SOSy is set to take the world by storm. Brooke, Britney and Jasmine make up the supergroup. Not only can all the girls really sing, but they also write there own material. They're set to release there mixtape "I'm so muthafu*#%! cool" on 3/23.

So tell us a little bit about yourselves
Interest(s)?

Well, we are SOSy, a girls group based out of Saint Louis, Missouri. SOSy consists of Brooke, Britney, and Jasmine. We do Electric Urban/Pop ™ music, and we've been together for about seven years. Some of our main interests really do relate back to music and entertaining. We like "vibing" in the studio, clubbin' (lol), doing stupid photoshoots (where we dress up, and put on tons of make-up, and snap shots), and cooking, sike.

Tell us how an ordinary day in your life is? Any rituals? routines?

An ordinary day for us is not your typical “every day”. Most of the time we wake up, go running, and dance for a few hours. This all happens before we get a chance to figure out what we are going to do for the day. We try to spend a few hours each day in the studio, just in case we catch a “vibe” and create some good tunes. We also try to build the buns of steel before we go to bed. You know, gotta have a “Beyonce Booty!

What's your ultimate goal in life?

The Ultimate Goal……hmmm…SOSy most definitely hopes to gain longevity. We want to gain a solid fan base that is going to follow us for a lifetime. And hopefully, we can be role models and touch someone’s life. Maybe someone who lacks self-esteem could get a hold of a SOSy cd, and listen to our lyrics and decide that they can be beautiful and confident. It’s sounds corny, but it’s genuine. Our ultimate goal is to promote self-worth.

What do yall like most about being in the business?

We like that we get to express our individuality. A lot of times artists are restricted as far as what they get to wear, and write, and do. But luckily our style and music is what has gained our following thus far.

What's the thought process behind your works?
...from personal experience?
...mere creativity?

We pull from both personal experiences as well as creative vibe sessions to write our music. As writers, we walk around soaking in every situation and atmosphere so that it can be later rhythmically added into a song. So just in case we have to collab on a “jam” ,on the spot while in the studio we have past experiences to pull from. So don’t be doing nothin’ crazy around SOSy cuz we jus’ mite write about cha?

What inspires and motivates you?

The thing that inspires us the most is all the people that believed in us from the beginning. Whenever we get down, or bored, or lazy, we think about everybody who believes in us, and it’s hard to just want to give up. So we don’t, as a matter-of-fact we get a recharge of energy, and we go full throttle.

How long have yall been involved in the business?

We have been at it for about six or seven years.

What are you listening to in your ipod these days?
...Why?

SOSy is bumpin’ Drake, Wayne, let’s just say “Young Mula Baby”, lol Trey Songz, Lady GaGa, Rhianna, and tons of Beyonce, oh, and your’s truly in the ipod. All of these artists work hard and you can definitely tell through their music as well as their performances.

Any future projects?

Right now we are finishing up a mixtape, I’m So MuthaF*&^in’ Cool, which is actually pretty cool, lol. It’s totally us uncensored all the way. We took our lives, as well as some of our friends experiences, and sang all about it. The mixtape has a very comical nature about it, for instance we have tons of skits throughout it where we are doing mock interviews, and they are hilarious. As of right now we have it set for release on March 23. We have a few songs up for a sneak peak on our myspace, www.myspace.com/s0sy , as well as updates and our other links. Does any negativity from the media ever affect you in anyway?

Negativity DOES affect us, it makes us write better songs. It makes us perform harder. Seriously!!!

Any advice for those looking to pursue their dreams?

For those who are looking to pursue their dreams, SOSy would like to advise you to stay motivated. Keep the big picture in front of you and chase it full speed. In this life, you can literally do ANYTHING you put your mind to. Sounds cliché, but it’s real, especially if the Lord is backing you.

What do you want to be remembered by?

We would like to be remembered for our courage, and not being afraid to be who we are. Point blank.

Anything you want people to know that they don't already know about you?

People may not know that Jasmine and Britney are aries and Brooke is a leo. We all grew up together. We all are led by Christian values. We are very goofy and rarely ever serious, and before every show we jump around and act really crazy and rowdy for like ten minutes…
