WBM Cares: LOST ONES FOUNDATION

Why Blue Matters is proud to help The Lost Ones foundation

Tameka Raymond The Lost Ones Foundation founder created this foundation to give back to the community and to help out young women in need.

The Lost Ones Foundation, Inc. is an independent non-profit organization established in 2009.

It serves young women who have been ignored, set aside, disregarded or ultimately dismissed as “The Lost Ones.”

The goal of the foundation is to inspire, mentor, and aid these troubled young women by offering practical and life changing retreats that will provide direction, a renewed outlook, and a strong sense of purpose. It is the intent of The Lost Ones Foundation, Inc. to equip these young women with the tools that will encourage them to thrive, which ultimately sets them in motion to elevate the next generation.

Through the building of self-esteem, there are so many obstacles that can be overcome. We want the participants to know that we are here with open arms and that “You are not alone.”

Those who wish to donate to the organization are encouraged to visit there website at http://www.lostonesfoundation.org/ and click on the GIVE page. There you will find all donation instructions and contact information. They are currently seeking assistance with beauty services (hair, make-up and skin care), transportation (ground and air) and motivational presentations for this summer's event tentatively scheduled for June 14-18, 2010.
